#### Sacred Geometry – Trinity 09

19th March

This trinity has a tighter knot to it – seems to be more balanced.

#### Sacred Geometry – Trinity 08

15th March

Another Trinity – this time interlocking two designs together. It’s interesting that I should start with an equilateral triangle as my first sacred geometry work with angles of 60 degrees now have naturally progressed to a trinity which deals with 120 degrees

Another version of the trinity – the Triskele Symbol

Interwoven circle trinity. This is another way the trinity is depicted

#### Sacred Geometry – Trinity 05

10th March

Exploring more complex sacred geometry now. This image seems to be associated most with the trinity it is widely used in religious art.

I’m amazed at how much in contained within this icon…the vesica piscis, the 3 fold celtic knot and equilateral triangle.

#### Sacred Geometry – Trinity 03

4th March

Another trinity – this took a while to create as you have to do each part in steps removing the negative shape from the positive.

#### Sacred Geometry – Trinity 04

2nd March

Exploring the Trinity some more. It’s interesting when you are building this geometry to see other sacred geometry formed within the shapes. There is the flower of life within this geometry and also triangles.

#### Sacred Geometry – Equilateral Triangle art 06

29th December

Was looking up simple geometry for the equilateral triangle and came across it enclosed in circles. This has got to be a personal favourite of mine, so much balance in one simple design.

I can actually see how I could build a lot of shapes from this one design. The way the angles intersect and the negative space in this geometry could be used as a positive shape to create something totally new.

This design also encapsulates one of the principals of sacred geometry that I really love as a designer. That is that you must balance you straight edges to curved and also positive and negative shapes

Getting more into the art side of things with this one. I am using the same geometry from my other works but exploring variations on the original form by placing it in different ways. It becomes clear how fractal a lot of sacred geometry is when you are exploring repetition in the work each angle seems to lock together and shapes tend to reduce easily.

I have had the idea of using green for a long time now, I want to try to put all my geometry into natural environments and explore how it can sit and still look like it is apart of the space.

#### Sacred Geometry – Equilateral Triangle

15th December

Again I love the simplicity of this work against the pure blue sky and the complexity of the grass. In researching the equilateral triangle i was really interested in the construction technique using a compass and a straight edge. I will certainly use this technique to construct an animated sacred geometry work in the future.
